Our 40-acre coffee farm is a productive operation that truly comes alive during harvest season. While Florizel and I manage the land throughout the year, we expand to a larger team of workers during peak coffee-picking times.
In addition to coffee, we also grow and sell fresh avocados from the farm, making full use of our land and continuing our family’s tradition of diversified farming.
Our farm’s modest size allows for hands-on, careful cultivation, with each coffee cherry hand-picked to ensure only the ripest fruits are selected. The work is demanding and is often carried out in challenging conditions, including frequent tropical rains.
The fruit of our labor is 100% Kona Coffee.

Our family’s journey with coffee began in 1999, when Florizel's father began working at a coffee processing mill while also harvesting coffee and avocados on local farms. Over time, coffee became a true family passion. Florizel began working in a coffee shop at just 16 and spent many seasons helping with the harvest.
In 2007, her father purchased the farm, planting the roots for what would become a multigenerational family operation. Which in 2022, was proudly transferred down to Florizel and her husband, Abraham.
Today, together with their children Brisa, Brayan, and Bayley, they lovingly steward their 40-acre farm in the heart of Kona coffee country. Along with producing exceptional coffee, the family also grows and sells fresh avocados from the farm. Every step, from growing and harvesting to processing, is guided by the family’s deep respect for the land and commitment to quality.

The story of our coffee begins long before the first harvest. Coffee plants start as carefully selected seeds, nurtured in protected seed beds until they are strong enough to transplant. It takes about three to four years for a coffee plant to produce its first crop of cherries.
Once mature, the plants produce beautiful white blossoms that develop into green coffee cherries, which gradually ripen to a deep red. After careful hand-picking, the cherries are processed to remove the fruit, revealing the green coffee beans. These beans are then dried, sorted, and eventually roasted, transforming from a raw agricultural product into the aromatic beans that coffee lovers grind and brew.
The final cup represents a journey of patience, skill, and careful craftsmanship.
Our farm represents more than just an agricultural business, it is a sustainable livelihood that balances traditional farming methods with a deep commitment to quality. Each harvest transforms our quiet 40 acres into a bustling center of agricultural activity, producing both exceptional coffee and fresh avocados for our community.
